Painting in their collection-Shootout at the Big Muddy
“Shootout at the Big Muddy” hanging in the Pearce Museum gallery.
It appears that the painting was done in 1968 and purchased by Charles S. Pearce for his personal collection in 1975. It is 39 X 28 oil on canvas. We do not have a record of who he purchased the painting from. It has been enjoyed by thousands since the galley was opened in 2003 to the public and will continue to be for years to come. Thank you for contributing to that enjoyment.
